NewDay United is committed to releasing fullness of life in Africa. We hold a passion to see lives restored and communities transformed. Africa needs this hope. True to the spirit of “Ubuntu” (an ancient African word meaning ‘humanity to others’) where emphasis is placed on community together influencing for the benefit of the greater, NewDay United collaborates with organisations who are already

touching and changing their world. We work with churches, businesses, community-based organisations and individuals. We are committed to championing the champions, enabling them to make a difference and become change agents in their communities, their nation and beyond. This is already happening in an increasing way through:
a) primary health services working at grassroots offering professional, confidential and affordable health care
b) educational programmes to see young people raised up as champions
c) scholarships for those who are future leaders and pioneers
d) the development of entrepreneurial skills through mentoring and internships

From Students to Graduates! On Friday we celebrated each one of the graduates having completed their 13-day Job Journey course. We are so proud and could not be more excited for what lies ahead for each one of their individual journeys.

Meet Malikaya! Hear the story of his experience here at Newday United while completing his 3 month computer course. Having learnt basic computer skills of the Microsoft 365 package, he was one of our computer course students who recently graduated earlier this month. We are so excited knowing he can implement these skills personally and professionally. Malikaya's story doesn't stop there, as he mentioned, he is currently involved in our Hluma After-School program as a volunteer, helping to facilitate our Children.We are so proud of Malikaya's Journey.

Last week Friday we celebrate the end of our 3 month computer course with a Graduation!

We are so proud of each one of these Graduates that have put in the work and effort, showed up, stayed the course and finished strong! We are so excited for the amazing journey ahead of each one, stepping into new doors, new opportunities and new paths. We wish them well for their individual journeys ahead.

Meet Lelethu! She is one of our computer course students who will be graduating this week.

Hear Lelethu's story about her journey of how she found out about NewDay, her expectations coming to the course, and what she's looking forward to after graduation.

Having learned Basic computer skills and the Microsoft Office 365 package over the past 3 months. We are so excited to know she can apply these skills to further her opportunities, both personally and career-wise.

Out next computre course starts on 31 August.

“This hope [this confident assurance] we have as an anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whatever pressure bears upon it] - a safe and steadfast hope that enters within the veil [of the heavenly temple, that most Holy Place in which the very presence of God dwells],” Hebrews 6:19 (AMP)

This verse brings comfort, reassurance and hope in times of trial.

Just as an anchor prevents a ship from drifting, hope rooted in God - His Word, character, and the work of Jesus - is trustworthy and unchanging, making our hope secure and eternal.

This keeps us spiritually grounded, provides security and confidence in His promises and give us access to His presence through Jesus.

In this coming month, whatever trails and challenges you are facing, may you know this anchored hope through knowing Him to sustain you through life’s storms.
