Last week, Project 90by2030 was invited by Asivikelane a social campaign focusing on mobilising disadvantaged communities with relevant information to improve service delivery.

We had the honour to facilitate our Climate & Gender toolkit at Barcelona informal settlements in Gugulethu. Understanding Gender & Climate Justice Toolkit is an initiative aimed at better understanding gender justice and its intersection with the climate justice movement in South Africa by enhancing the inclusivity of underrepresented groups and communities.

The session allowed for the community to map out their understanding of climate change and how gender shows up in their daily lives. We had a diverse audience and learned from different age groups, planned ways we can show up and use our voices to inspire change.
