What an incredible 3 days at our Nyanga Holiday Club, in partnership with Word of Life! Under the theme “Ready, Steady, Go for God.”

“I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 3:14

We’re grateful for every young person who joined us, every volunteer who served, and every partner who helped make these three days possible. We pray that what was planted during these days will continue to grow in the hearts and lives of our young people.

Ready. Steady. Go for God! 🏃🏽‍♀️💨

“Seeing a room full of young people worshipping Jesus so freely and passionately was really special. It was one of those moments where you could just step back in awe of what God is doing.” — Brandon

At Gangstar, learning happens on the job. Through our café and events, young people get hands-on experience in hospitality, customer service, teamwork and the day-to-day realities of the workplace.

Every shift is an opportunity to learn a new skill, grow in confidence and take another step towards a brighter future. We’re passionate about creating spaces where skills are developed, potential is unlocked and fresh starts become possible. That is why GANG is the past. STAR is the future.

Our Sakumzi Rugby players have shown incredible growth and success on the field, and today we want to remind ourselves that there is so much more to their journey than rugby.

Please pray with us for these young men and women as they work hard at school, that they would have focus, perseverance and the support they need to succeed.

Pray also for them as they face the challenges and trials within their communities. Pray for protection, wise choices, positive role models and strength to navigate the pressures around them.

May they continue to grow on the field, in the classroom and in life.

Our Respect ME team had a great time with Grade 7s at a new school in the Northern suburbs of Cape Town!

One of the girls shared about her struggle with self-harm. Our team was able to encourage her and connect her with support. She has since stopped self-harming and is now receiving support from the school’s social worker.

Please keep her and other young people facing similar struggles in your prayers — that they would know their worth, experience healing and find the support they need.
