The Chairperson and Board of Kuthetha Nathi / Talk to Us are delighted to welcome Larni to our team.
Larni is a final-year student completing a Bachelor of Psychological Science at the University of Newcastle, Australia.
She is passionate about supporting others, early intervention, and inclusive care.
Aspiring to become a clinical psychologist, she has undertaken training in Mental Health First Aid as well as foundational workshops in domestic violence and su***de awareness.
Alongside her studies, Larni works as a support worker providing compassionate, person-centred care to individuals supported through the NDIS.
Beyond her professional pursuits, she volunteers with the Disabled Surfers Association, sharing her love of surfing with diverse members of the community throughout the year.
In her spare time, Larni can be found challenging herself in the gym, catching waves, or spending time in nature. She has a keen sense of curiosity and enjoys exploring new places, foods, and music.
Larni chose to undertake her psychology placement in Cape Town, drawn by its stunning natural beauty, world-class hiking, and the city's rich cultural history and diversity.
Please join us in giving her a warm welcome to the Kuthetha Nathi community ✨
