RLabs started in Bridgetown with a single computer, a strong community, and young people eager to learn. That initial effort led to JamiiX and laid the groundwork for our formal launch in 2009.

RLabs is proud to support Yoma World and Generation Unlimited at UNICEF on the continent-wide Climate Action Challenge, running until 31st October 2026!

Plastic pollution and environmental degradation pose major risks to children and youth across Africa. Through this scalable initiative, young people are taking charge, linking environmental learning with hands-on volunteering, community cleanups, and waste hotspot mapping.

Together with UNICEF South Africa, we are accelerating youth-led solutions for a sustainable future.
