Starting out in a garage feeding the community whom are hungry in Retreat on the streets of CPT. Watching kids eat in appreciation not knowing how to say thank you, to handing out clothing that we say is old after a few wears to giving it over to the less fortunate that cant believe it in appreciation. Yesterday's serving at the Gaatjie community. Everyone was so grateful for the much needed products for home . Even the mayo was greeted with so much excitement. Things most of us just take for granted was so appreciated even telling me how expensive mayo is today and here they are just receiving it. A huge thank you to SA Harvest and FoodForward SA for everything you guys are doing behind the scene. We as organizations are only the extention of the big picture in trying to lesson the struggle that most communities are going through. Thank you guys

The moms all said that they were so hoping we would come this week because the cupboards was empty . Today we were able to serve the community of Victoria lodge. They received much needed goods for their households. They were very grateful for the fish we received from the simonstown trekkers. Thanks to the skipper these people can enjoy a great meal also. Today we went and served the community of Victoria lodge. Being able to do this does not happen overnight. It takes a lot of caring people such as these folks of SA Harvest and FoodForward SA and so many others to come together and donate so that we as and organization is able to do this to provide dignity in a bag to these communities. We evolved past the stage of making food to where we can assist the families to walk away from the tables and go home to make their own families a meal with dignity . We want to do this for sonny other communities out there but our resources are just not enough. We hope to achieve this goal in the future. Thank you everyone.
