Ikasi Youth is a non-profit organization based in Cape Town. We have found the best resources and materials to create learning journeys that change lives.

Our vision is to create a world where our youth are inspired and equipped to realize the future they want. We offer youth the opportunity to thrive and develop to the greatest extent of their individual talent and ambition. We do this by training and mentoring organizations to facilitate the Ikasi Youth Leadership program to become role models in their communities. With a national youth unemployme

nt rate of 59%, our programs are aimed at improving emotional intelligence, employability, and leadership skills to equip youth to overcome, thrive, and lead in all aspects of life. 🌟 Meet Aziliyah Chikosa, a Grade 12 student from Silikamva High School and a proud Ikasi Youth participant since Grade 8! 🌟

“Ikasi Youth has been a huge part of my journey, helping me grow, especially in my social skills. From day one, I was welcomed into a supportive community that encouraged confidence, teamwork, and friendship. During COVID-19, Ikasi went above and beyond by supporting my family with groceries and financial aid. I’ll forever be grateful. Through sessions, memories, and moments shared, I’ve learned the true value of empathy, teamwork, and communication.

A huge thank you to my mentor, Stephano, whose guidance and encouragement have helped me become the person I am today. Every memory with my peers and mentors is something I’ll carry with me always. 💙
