It was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do, and how deeply this support is needed in our community.

To every family who took the time to visit, to listen, and to dream with us about 2027 — we see you, we appreciate you, and we are so excited for the journey ahead.

The following requirements are non-negotiable:
✅ Recognised teaching qualification or relevant diploma a must.
✅ Current SACE registration
✅ Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle would be advantageous
✅ Clear criminal record (child protection clearances will be conducted)

Advantageous:
✅ Experience working in the NPO sector and within the autism environment.

💜 Training Day at Autism Connect 💜

Yesterday, 7 October 2026, our staff had the privilege of attending an insightful training with Epilepsy SA at our Autism Connect Early Learning Centre.

Epilepsy and autism are a topic that is not often discussed, and understanding it better helps us provide safer, more supportive care for our young adults and children.

We learned about different types of seizures, common triggers, what to do and what NOT to do during a seizure, and how to create a safer and more inclusive environment for everyone.

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful facilitator, Lyle, from Epilepsy SA for sharing his knowledge with so much patience and compassion. And thank you to our dedicated team for always being eager to learn and grow for our families.

At Autism Connect Skills & Support Centre and Early Learning Centre, we believe that continuous learning is key to better support.

Happy Heritage Day from all of us at Autism Connect.

Today we celebrate who we are, where we come from, and the cultures that shaped us. Our heritage is in our languages, our songs, our stories, our food, and the values passed down to us.

At Autism Connect we also celebrate a different kind of heritage, the unique heritage within each person. We honour the beauty of neurodiversity and the rich cultures our individuals and families bring into our community.

Different cultures. Different minds. One shared humanity.

On this day may we remember that our strength is in our diversity and our unity. May we continue to learn from each other, respect each other, and make space for everyone to belong.

🌸 EARLY LEARNING CENTRE | WEEKLY WRAP-UP: 21 - 23 SEPT 🌸

What a beautiful, bright and blossoming week we’ve had at our Early Learning Centre! 💙

Our little stars have been shining so brightly – filled with learning, laughter, sensory play, and so much love. Every day was a reminder of how much growth happens when children feel safe, celebrated, and seen.

We ended off this special week with our Spring Hat Civvies Day! 🎩🌼

Oh, what a sight to behold! Our learners arrived in their colourful civvies and the most creative, cheerful spring hats – flowers, butterflies, colours and pure sunshine! Their smiles were brighter than the spring itself, and their joy was absolutely contagious.

Thank you to our incredible parents for your creativity and support, and to our dedicated teachers and facilitators who make magic happen every single day.

Here’s to new beginnings, new blooms, and the beautiful little souls we have the honour of guiding.
