🔵🚨 LPR SUCCESS IN BOTHASIG! THREE SUSPECTS ARRESTED! 🚨🔵

Another great example of what happens when our community, LPR network, Neighbourhood Watch volunteers and SAPS work together! 👏

On Saturday afternoon, 10 October, an alert was received regarding a vehicle linked to a previous remote jamming incident entering Bothasig.

Thanks to the swift response and coordination between the Edgemead Neighbourhood Watch, Bothasig Neighbourhood Watch, Bothasig Community in Blue, Edgemead Zone 4 Watch, Precinct Response and Bothasig SAPS, the vehicle was located near the De Grendel Centre.

Our members kept a close eye on the vehicle and its occupants. When one of the passengers allegedly ran out of a cellphone shop after being chased by an employee and jumped into the waiting vehicle, the situation quickly escalated.

A pursuit followed, and the vehicle was eventually stopped on the N7. Three suspects were arrested, and the stolen cellphone was recovered! 🚔👏

💙 THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO MADE THIS POSSIBLE!

To our dedicated volunteers, responding officers, LPR supporters and community members, your involvement makes a real difference. Every report, every patrol and every contribution helps us build a safer Bothasig.

Together, we can deter crime, support our law enforcement partners and keep our neighbourhood safer.

🔵 SEE SOMETHING? REPORT IT. STAY ALERT. STAND TOGETHER.

💙 A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS! 💙

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to ADT and Build it for their generous support of our Neighbourhood Watch.

🌭 ADT sponsored the boerewors and rolls for our fundraising initiative, helping us raise much-needed funds towards the continued work of our Watch.

🤝 Build it made a valuable donation towards the Watch, supporting our efforts to keep making a difference in our community.

We would also like to thank our dedicated patrollers who provided first aid assistance and visibility during the Inter-Schools Netball & Soccer Tournament at Bosmansdam. Your presence and willingness to assist helped make the event a safer and more secure environment for everyone involved.

Community support like this makes a real difference. Thank you to ADT, Build it, our patrollers, and everyone who continues to support the work we do. 💙
