On behalf of the Lighthouse Foundation, a HUGE thank you to Baker Tilly Greenwoods for shooting the lights out this year! They collected a whopping 9768 eggs this year for Meals on Wheels. Something as small as an easter egg, makes a world of difference to people who don’t know where the next meal is coming from. Thank you for your hearts of gold, for making such a tangible difference in the lives of others and for bringing light into the lives of others!! You guys rock!!!

Morning Everyone, I hope you are all doing well. I am sending this message to ask for some help - if you are able to. My grandmother’s neighbours house burned down in the week and they lost almost everything. The daughter is in a wheelchair and needs to start University next year. They also lost their gardener in the fire who was staying with them. If you have anything in your house that you aren’t using / want to throw out, please reach out to me. Baker Tilly Greenwoods - I have been searching for the right words the whole morning… When Meals on Wheels messaged me, I did not know how we were going to raise 7000 eggs - which would equate to 1 easter egg per person. Times are really tough and easter eggs are super expensive.

This morning I received a call and a message from Jana and Linette, that had me in tears. The message was as to tell me that the executives decided to match what the AMAZING team collected but also to top it up further, to get to our target for Meals on Wheels of 7000 eggs!!! They donated 7024 easter eggs - all collected within this week! 🥹

🥹😢❤️ Baker Tilly Greenwoods - you have NO idea what impact these donations will make! Thanks to you we will now be in a position to donate more than 1 egg per person - as this will be added onto the other kind donations from other world changers we have received!

BTG - A massive thank you to each and every person who collected, for leading by example and for showing us what “showing we care” truly means! You all ROCK!!!!!! May you be blessed beyond measure for your kindness!

Meals on Wheels - fighting for a hunger free South-Africa. According to their stats, 20 million people go to bed hungry 😢. One of their mission statements is to deliver hope, one meal at a time.

It is tough times for all and the fight is real. They cannot do it without our help. 7000 people won’t get anything special this Easter if we cannot pull together and collect some Easter Eggs. Help us bring hope to 7000 people this Easter!

Morning to all of you World Changers! Meals on Wheels contacted me and they are in desperate need of some Easter Eggs to brighten the lives of the 7000 people they feed. We are not doing a formal Easter Egg Project this year, but we want to try and help Meals on Wheels with the good work they do! If you want to bless someone with some marshmallow love, you can buy a string of eggs or a box and contact me to drop it off in Bellville or you can financially contribute and we will go and buy easter eggs on your behalf. We will raise funds from today until next Wednesday, 9 April in order to buy and deliver the eggs before Easter.
