South Africa - Lesotho Exposure Visit
16-23 November 2025.
In association with and supported by KOLPING INTERNATIONAL

We are honoured to welcome the Kolping Lesotho delegation as they visit, engage with us, and learn about our work in South Africa.

The delegation started their journey in Mthatha by meeting Bishop Sithembele Sipuka, learning about organic farming techniques and meeting Kolping small-scale farming groups.
The second stage took them to Cape Town, where they met our National Praeses Fr Kizito Gugah and Cape Town Praeses Fr Emmanuel Okika.
Followed by further meetings and engagements with kitchen garden and crafters groups, W*P and SPARK trainees, and the Kolping Tafelsig Family.

Care for Creation Awareness Hike

On Saturday, September 26th, Kolping Kleinvlei family came together to celebrate Care of Creation Awareness with a hike at Cape Point. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of taking care of God's creation and our environment.

Father Rui led a mass, sharing a powerful lesson about the significance of caring for our planet. He also highlighted the historical significance of the location, where the first mass was celebrated in the 1940s by Portuguese priests.

The hike was enjoyed by many, especially the children, who reveled in the opportunity to spend quality time with their families in nature. This event served as a poignant reminder of the importance of family bonding and appreciating the beauty of Mother Nature.

We're grateful for the opportunity to come together and celebrate our responsibility to care for the earth.
