What a beautiful afternoon spent in the company of strong, resilient women, women who carry both grace and grit. Our heart was to create a sacred, safe space where stories could be shared, testimonies honored, and healing conversations welcomed. And what unfolded was nothing short of beautiful.

There is something powerful about women gathering with intention , walls come down, courage rises, and hope is renewed.

We are reminded of Proverbs 10:22:
“The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.”

To our facilators/ teachers. ❤️

I want to take a moment to honour each one of you for what you poured into our children yesterday. The way you showed up, served with love, patience, joy, and pure heart has touched lives in a way words may never fully capture.

You didn’t just supervise children You made them feel seen. You made them feel safe.
You made them feel that they matter.

Thank you for every smile you gave, every hand you held, every game you played and every word of encouragement you spoke. You showed what true community looks like.

I am beyond grateful for each one of you. May the seeds of love you planted return to you in overflowing ways. May God bless you, your families, your homes, and the work of your hands. May you continue to be vessels of light wherever you go.

MOMENTS THAT MATTER — A Day We Will Never Forget!

Today our hearts were full, our playgrounds were alive with laughter, and our children reminded us why every moment truly matters.

From the very first welcome hug over a delicious breakfast, to the closing our children showed kindness, courage, friendship and the most beautiful dreams for their futures. ❤️

What made today so special?

Our little champions enjoyed:
⚽ Soccer, cricket and action ball.
🎈 Jumping castles & endless giggles
🖍 Vision board creation; “I Am, I Can, I Dream” " My goals " "My Dreams for my family"
Lessons on kindness and how to portray it

A yummy lunch with friends and our guardians for the day.

Music, dancing, a candy table & photo booth

Affirmations reminding every child:

“I am kind. I am loved. I matter.”
And oh, the magic in their eyes as they shared their hopes and dreams… truly unforgettable.

You donated, monetary, food, treats, time, transport, laughter, energy, creativity and most importantly, love. You didn’t just support an event… you shaped memories and poured into children who needed to feel seen, heard and celebrated.

A Special Message to Our Children:

💚Good morning AWE Family! 💚

We are deeply grateful for your love and support — thanks to you, we’ve reached our target for our Moments that Matter event! 🙌

As we continue preparing for this special day, we’d like to appeal for donations towards sanitary and hygiene packs. Items needed include:
🧼 Soap
🪣 Face cloth
🪥 Toothbrush
🧴 Toothpaste
🧼 Antiperspirant / body spray
💅 Nail clipper
💇🏽 Comb or brush
🩸 Sanitary towels etc

Monetary contributions are also welcome.

We’re also planning to treat the children to a homely breakfast, fresh fruit, a hearty meal, and a goody bag — ensuring each child leaves the event feeling loved, supported, and reminded that they are not alone. 💛

Let’s continue spreading kindness and making a difference, one heart at a time. 💚
