Open Day was a powerful reminder of what engineering can be.🚀⚡
 
Last night, we welcomed students into Engineers Without Borders UCT to explore our ventures, see how they can get involved, and get a real sense of what we’re building this year.
 
A huge highlight of the evening was our guest speaker, Lavender Tsongoro. Her talk was truly exceptional. She unpacked what it really means to navigate the renewable energy space⚡ while reminding us to stay passionate and purpose-driven as engineers. More than that, she highlighted the scale of opportunity within the energy sector and challenged us to step into it with intention. It’s rare to hear someone speak with that level of clarity and authenticity.
 
Experiences like this go beyond the classroom, they remind us that engineering is ultimately about impact, people, and building a better future.
