2026, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

On 30th December 2025, as the year drew to a close, OKTA (World Federation of Overseas Korean Economic and Trade Associations) and Cape Town Branch held a year-end party with the South Africa Haidong Gumdo Association, which had signed an MOU.

The South African Association presented a Letter of Appreciation and a gift to the Director of OKTA Cape Town Branch, while the African Association presented a Meritorious Service Award and a gift to the Chairman of the South African Association.

On behalf of the South African Association's other officials, African Haidong Gumdo Grand Master Song attended the event to explain Haidong Gumdo's plans for the coming year to the Director and members of OKTA Cape Town Branch.

They discussed each other's proposals and agreed to further develop their cooperative relationship with OKTA Cape Town Branch.
