It means more than having rights written into law. It means being able to access healthcare without barriers, live free from violence, manage menstruation with dignity, protect herself from HIV and make informed choices about her future.

In her latest Mail & Guardian article, our CEO, Dr Ntombifikile Mtshali, explains why the challenges facing young women are interconnected and why our responses must be too.
