🇿🇦 Youth Day 2026 🇿🇦

YMCA Cape Town had the privilege of partnering with the Heideveld Library for a meaningful Youth Day program focused on empowering young people with the tools they need to thrive.

We engaged with local youth on topics including health and wellbeing, basic skills development, and effective communication skills, encouraging them to invest in themselves, build confidence, and unlock their full potential.

A big thank you to Heideveld Library for inviting us to be part of this impactful day and for creating a space where young people can learn, grow, and be inspired.

Together, we continue to empower youth, strengthen communities, and build brighter futures.

What an unforgettable night! From powerful reflections during our AGM 📝 to the dazzling moments on the gala floor 💃🕺, every second was filled with celebration, connection, and gratitude.

We honoured 160 years of life, leadership, and service 🙌🏽💛 — a legacy built through community, resilience, and unwavering commitment. The energy was electric, the outfits were stunning 👗🤵, and the spirit of unity was felt all around.
