CapeBPO has landed in Sydney! 🇿🇦✈️🇦🇺

A great start to our Australia Outbound Mission, led by CapeBPO CEO Clayton Williams and Chief Skills Officer Shaheed Hendricks, alongside a delegation of South African BPO leaders.

Our first engagement brought the delegation together with Australian executives for an open conversation around outsourcing, what buyers look for in delivery partners, and importantly, how South Africa is viewed as a global BPO destination.

We’re here to listen, learn, build relationships and create new opportunities for our sector back home. 🌍

We took the CapeBPO Awards Roadshow to Foundever, EXL, ATM, Ellio and Concentrix, and were welcomed with incredible energy, warm hospitality and plenty of good vibes at every stop. 🙌✨

Today, we had the privilege of celebrating the graduation of 500+ young people who participated in the CapeBPO Skills Programmes, funded through the Jobs Fund, BANKSETA and DEDAT, and hosted by BPO Skills Academy. 🎓

The event brought together graduates, government partners, funders, training providers and industry stakeholders to celebrate this important milestone, with special addresses from our Government Partners from City of Cape Town & Western Cape Government, Funders, Training Provider and CapeBPO.

This milestone represents more than a qualification - it represents skills gained, opportunities created and new pathways into the BPO industry for young people across the Western Cape.

A great day with the Concentrix team! 💙

Earlier this week, the CapeBPO team, together with Alderman James Vos, had the opportunity to visit Concentrix and spend some time with their team.

It was great to connect, hear about the exciting things happening within the business, and learn more about their plans for growth and expansion and the opportunities this can create for more jobs in Cape Town.

We also had the chance to tour the site and see the team in action, giving us a great insight into the work happening behind the scenes.

A big thank you to the Concentrix team for welcoming us and for the great conversations. We’re looking forward to continuing to work together to grow Cape Town’s BPO industry and create even more opportunities for our people. 🤝
