🙏 Tonight at my Wednesday evening addiction support group meeting opposite Steenberg SAPS, I was once again reminded of the power of community. What an incredible group of people, different from the Monday night group, but just as inspiring. The meeting is led by two dedicated brothers from the Steenberg community, Fariq and Yusuf Gamieldien, who are doing powerful, selfless work on the ground. Bridgette Hendricks continues to play a key role, working in collaboration with them to support those in need.

💔 With drug and alcohol abuse devastating so many families in our communities, safe and supportive spaces like this are vital. These meetings give people the opportunity to break the cycle of addiction, find strength in others, and begin the journey of healing. Community-led solutions like this are saving lives and they deserve our full support.

Facing addiction alone is tough. We are here to help! Blessed Hope addiction and family support group offers support, guidance, and healing for addicts and their families.

We meet every Wednesday at 7pm in the Church hall [upstairs] and the second Sunday of every month at 11.30am in the main auditorium [downstairs].
