World AIDS Day | 1 December 2025 🎗
On this World AIDS Day, we pause as a community to raise awareness, show compassion, and reaffirm our commitment to the fight against HIV and AIDS.
HIV remains a public health challenge that affects individuals, families, and communities. However, with increased awareness, access to testing, treatment, and ongoing education, we know that progress is possible. Ending stigma and discrimination remains just as important as improving healthcare services, because no one should be afraid to seek help or support.
As a foundation, we stand firmly in support of initiatives that promote prevention, dignity, and equal access to healthcare services. I encourage all residents to take responsibility for their health by knowing their status, supporting those living with HIV, and sharing accurate information within our communities.
Together, through unity, understanding, and action, we can build a healthier and more caring society.
Let us be the generation that chooses awareness over silence and compassion over stigma.💛

Op hierdie Wêreld-VIGS-dag, neem ons as gemeenskap 'n pouse om bewustheid te verhoog, deernis te toon en ons verbintenis tot die stryd teen MIV en VIGS te herbevestig.
MIV bly 'n openbare gesondheidsuitdaging wat individue, gesinne en gemeenskappe raak. Met verhoogde bewustheid, toegang tot toetsing, behandeling en voortgesette opleiding, weet ons egter dat vooruitgang moontlik is. Die beëindiging van stigma en diskriminasie bly net so belangrik soos die verbetering van gesondheidsorgdienste, want niemand moet bang wees om hulp of ondersteuning te soek nie.
UNIQUE SUPPORT AND CARE FOUND staan ons ferm in die ondersteuning van inisiatiewe wat voorkoming, waardigheid en gelyke toegang tot gesondheidsorgdienste bevorder.
