🛝 PLAYGROUND MAKEOVER IN PROGRESS! 🌈

The SABBA Team joined forces with Veron Youth Acadamy and volunteers to repair the jungle gym and swings at Sijongephambili Daycare Centre in Lwandle, Strand—and the children couldn’t wait to start playing! 💚

We also planted the first fruit trees - guava-berries and granadillas will soon be enjoyed. 🌱

Next up: removing the rubble and laying 144m² of synthetic grass to create a safe, clean play area.

Our target is R20,000. Can you help us make this little playground a happy, beautiful space?

DM us to contribute or partner with us. Every rand helps! 🙌

What an incredible story! 🌱👏

Thank you to the amazing team at DoubleTree by Hilton Cape Town for your continued partnership and commitment to creating meaningful impact beyond your hotel walls.

And to Dumisani—keep those conversations with the plants going! 😊 Whether it's science, passion, or a little bit of both, your care is helping grow more than just herbs. Together, we're cultivating food security, practical skills, and sustainable opportunities that empower communities to thrive.

Here's to growing people, purpose, and a greener future—one garden at a time. 💚🌿

School gardens are still a Sabba passion. We installed a new garden in Wynberg and replanted in Retreat. Thanks for all the helpers and Sabba Champions and happy eating to the children!

From garden to plate… and so much more 🌶️🌱

These freshly picked peppers and chillies made their way straight from the SABBA-maintained garden to the kitchen at the DoubleTree Hilton – Upper East Side 🍽️

But this is not just about beautiful produce…

We care for their herb garden, indoor plants, vases, courtyard garden and even the lemon orchid 🍋🌿 — creating a space that guests experience with all their senses:
✨ Fresh ingredients for the kitchen & bar (chocolate mint in cocktails = YES!)
✨ Lush greenery indoors
✨ A peaceful, vibrant courtyard to wake up to

And here’s where the magic really happens 💛
This work directly fuels our impact.

Through this social enterprise, we fund:
🌱 School food gardens feeding hungry children
🎓 Skills development programmes
💼 Income-generating community hubs
🤝 Ongoing community support

So when you visit, you’re part of the story.

Come stay. Come eat. Come have a drink.
Or just pop in and experience the magic in action ✨

Hi everyone 🌿

Over the years through the work of the Sabba Movement, we’ve had the privilege of working alongside many incredible NGOs and community organisations. One thing we see again and again is that teams are doing amazing work, but often don’t have access to affordable training to strengthen their organisational skills.

Through our social enterprise Sabba College, we’ve created a NGO Capacity Building Bundle that organisations can use to train their teams.

NGO Team Training Bundle – R4,000

✔ 5 staff members
✔ 5 practical online courses
✔ Fully online & self-paced
✔ Courses can be shared across your team

Our flagship NGO skills bundle includes training in:

💻 Microsoft Office Skills

📋 Project Management
https://sabbacollege.com/product/global-project-management-pmbok-pmi-project-life-cycle/

📊 Administration & Office Skills

📈 Marketing Strategy (great for fundraising & visibility)
https://sabbacollege.com/product/marketing-strategy/

📑 Data Documentation & Record Keeping
https://sabbacollege.com/product/data-documentation-and-record-keeping/

These are the areas we most often see NGOs needing support with:
* reporting and donor compliance
* programme management
* administration and organisation
* digital office skills
* visibility and fundraising

✨ Sabba College is a social enterprise, so every course also helps fund the community development work of the Sabba Movement.

We are opening 10 NGO bundles for this intake, and we would love to support organisations in this network.

If this could benefit your team, feel free to comment or send me a message.
