The annual Khumbulani (“Remember” in isiXhosa) Pride took to the streets of Khayelitsha in Cape Town to remember slain q***r teenager KwaKhanya Mhlanganisi and other victims of LGBTQ+ hate and violence.

On Saturday, 23 May, dozens of activists and community members gathered to sing, march and call for justice for victims and survivors of anti-LGBTQ+ violence.
