There is something beautiful about a smile that appears despite life's challenges.

One of the things I've learned from spending time at Zandvliet Care Facility is that dignity isn't found in grand gestures. It's found in the small things we often take for granted – comfort, mobility, independence and human connection.

This campaign is about preserving those things for residents who rely on wheelchairs every day.

🌟 Success Story Spotlight 🌟

We are proud to celebrate the remarkable progress of one of our patients from our Transitional Ward. Mr Petrus Pontac.Following a stroke, his journey to recovery was filled with challenges, determination, and hard work. Through dedicated therapy, compassionate care, and incredible perseverance, Mr Pontac has regained strength, independence, and confidence.

Huge thank you to the Helderberg NG church for their genourous donation of adult diapers. Every little bit helps. It makes such a massive difference in the lives of each of our residents.

✨👑 Today we proudly crowned our new Mr and Miss Zandvliet! 👑✨

Our residents dressed in their finest outfits and took to the stage with confidence, style, and plenty of smiles. The beauty pageant was filled with laughter, excitement, and unforgettable moments as everyone came together to celebrate the wonderful personalities and spirit of our residents.

Congratulations to our deserving winners and to every participant who made the day so special. Fun was had by all, and the joy in the room was truly priceless! ❤️

🌸 May was a month filled with love, gratitude, and blessings. 🌸

We celebrated our wonderful mothers on Mother's Day, honoring the love, care, and strength they bring to our lives every day.

We also paid tribute to our dedicated nurse for her compassion and service, and joyfully celebrated two very special birthdays – Aunty Geraldine turning 86 and Uncle Vicky turning 77. What a blessing to share these milestones together!

We are deeply grateful for the generous donations of blankets, scarves, and mittens received during the month. Your kindness helps bring warmth and comfort to those in need.

A generous donation of 900 adult pull-on nappies and 500 toothbrushes by the Helderberg Rotary Anns is helping to meet the essential needs of residents at Zandvliet Care Facility, showcasing the power of community support.

We are so overwhelmed with gratitude. We received a donation of scarves, blankets and mittens and just in time for this cold winter.
Every year Pauline Spencer and a few ladies from Somerset West knit these beautiful knitted accessories for our residents.
As well as Candice who is such a blessing to us every year with her amazing scarves and mittens.
