We are at that time of the year when everyone receiving their bonuses, shopping malls are full of shoppers preparing for the Big Festive ahead of us.
This is a reminder to all of us, remember those less fortunate that will not be receiving any bonuses, no salary, no job, cupboards and Festive might look bleak this year around. Then comes 2026 and children must go back to school.
The need is very great out there and NBR once again this year requesting humbly your support for those in need.
We have amazing Principals and Teachers digging deep into their own pockets for these learners but unfortunately it will not be enough. Our request to you today and over this holidays to reach out to NBR. We are in need of school stationery, school clothing, grey pants and skirts, white shirts, black school shoes and white and Grey socks. If you cannot buy yourself a monetary contribution into the NBR account listed will be welcomed. We can provide you with S18A certificate should you need one.
Our schools cannot do this without the Community like you and I. Our children deserves the best to give their best.

The Hands Behind the Mission – NBR in Action!

At NBR (Now Build Relationships), our work is only possible because of the incredible people behind the scenes—the selfless donors, dedicated volunteers, and passionate team members who make these initiatives a reality.

This year, we’ve continued our commitment to clothing school children, providing stationery, and feeding those in need on the streets. These efforts don’t happen on their own—it’s the unseen hands, the quiet sacrifices, and the unwavering commitment of many that drive this mission forward.

Yesterday morning, 1,300 school children at Athwood Primary and Willows Primary received a nourishing meal, thanks to the generosity of a donor who chose to remain anonymous. Their heart for children, combined with the dedication of our team, made this possible.

To those who give, serve, and support—you are the real heroes. Every meal, every item of clothing, and every word of encouragement leaves a lasting impact.

NBR Update: Serving with Purpose in 2025

At NBR (Now Build Relationships), we believe in making a real impact—one child, one family, one community at a time.

This year, we’ve continued our mission by clothing school children, providing stationery, and feeding those in need on the streets. Each act of kindness is a step toward restoring dignity and creating hope.

Yesterday morning, we had the privilege of feeding 1,300 school children collectively at Athwood Primary and Willows Primary.

This was made possible through the selfless generosity of a donor who wishes to remain anonymous. His
heart for children, combined with our team’s dedication, ensured that these learners received a nourishing meal to support their education.

We absolutely agree. It was a great privilege and honor to have been part of the 1st School's Choir Competition in Mitchell's Plain held by Mitchell's Plain Music Academy . Looking forward to 2025 with double the amount of participants. Well done, it was a great success.
