In celebration of World Sight Day and Vision Awareness Month, the Table View Lions Club collected 4 boxes of pre-loved spectacles, which have been sent to Lions BrightSight! 🦁

These spectacles will help give others the opportunity to see the world a little more clearly. 🌍👀

A big thank you to everyone who donated! Your old spectacles could make a world of difference to someone else. 💙💛

🦏🧶 Blankets for Baby Rhinos 🧶🦏

One of our favourite environmental projects and one that is truly made with love.

Our members have been busy knitting, collecting and joining squares together to create warm, handmade blankets for orphaned rhinos and other wildlife. Every blanket is unique, and every stitch represents someone's time, care and love for our precious animals. 🐘🦏💛

Blankets for Baby Rhinos supports wildlife orphanages and conservation projects across Southern Africa, providing handmade blankets and other knitted items where they are needed.

Want to get involved? Contact Lion Wilna on 082 952 6295to find out how they can help with this wonderful project and many others 🧶

🧁 300 cupcakes and a whole lot of fun! 🦁💙

Our Table View Lions had a great time getting together to ice and pack 300 cupcakes for the Cupcakes for Cancer drive at Bayside Mall.

There was plenty of icing, packing, teamwork and laughter — all for a wonderful cause. 💙

And the cupcakes are still up for grabs today at Bayside Mall! So if you're heading to the mall, go on… treat yourself to a cupcake (or two!) and support cancer awareness and fundraising at the same time. 🧁💙

As part of Arbour Month TableView Lions Club donated and planted 2 trees in the TableView SAPS garden.
One is an Orange tree so hopefully they will be able to enjoy its fruits in the future and the other an indigenous Wit Karree tree.
Also thank you (in advance) to Ken from the TableView CPF who is going to make sure they survive the summer and grow nice and strong

♻️ 120 kg of bottle tops. Tens of thousands of little pieces making a big difference. 💙💛

For National Recycling Day – 18 September, we’re celebrating a community effort that kept over 120 kg of plastic bottle tops out of our oceans and landfills. 🌊♻️

Through recycling, these bottle tops also help support Operation Smile — showing how something we might normally throw away can be given a second purpose and help create a lasting impact. 😊

Thank you to everyone who has played a part in this project. 🦁💙💛

We care about you.
