Brilliant work Rensha!

BIG NEWS! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŒฑ

We are proud to announce that GrowBox has been selected as a FINALIST in the Cape Talk Nedbank Business Ignite Competition 2026.

This recognition highlights the work being done to transform underutilised spaces into productive growing environments, strengthen food security, create learning opportunities, and empower communities through sustainable food production.

From school gardens and urban farms to training, plant rentals, and community development projects, every step of our journey has been driven by a simple belief:

Everyone should have access to the knowledge and resources needed to grow food.

We want to thank our clients, partners, supporters, volunteers, schools, and communities who have been part of this journey.

Your support has helped us grow beyond what we imagined.

As we continue this exciting journey, we invite you to follow, share, and support GrowBox as we work towards a future where more communities can grow their own food and thrive.

A community is measured by how it treats their children, the elderly and its animals.

Today our club was able to provide 190 blankets to the Cape of Good Hope SPCA. The blankets were a generous donation made possible through the collaboration with the Rondebosch WhatsApp community group, Marc Kannemeyer, and a very generous donor near Airport Industrial.

These blankets put smiles on the dedicated team when we delivered them, and we were told over and over again that โ€˜this is just what we need for the animals in our care!โ€™.

Itโ€™s little things that become big things and make our community that much stronger.

Our Rotary club is committed to one project at a time.

โ€˜The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.โ€™ -

Veggies will continue to grow strong at GrowBox.

Our club has been involved with Rensha and GrowBox for the last several years, and we are thrilled to continue our support through the donation of 9 metal planters. The planters will be used to plant much needed veggies and herbs that feed the community of Hanover Park and the wider Cape Town area. As a women owned small business enterprise, Rensha is proof that hard work, community, nutrition and a keen business mindset can change the world one step at a time! Keep up the great work Rensha, and long may our collaboration with you continue!
