A sunny spring day well spent - growing vegetables, knowledge and community together🪴

In September, we were delighted to bring together two projects close to our club. Renshia from Growbox visited Bos Kinnes’ Garden of Knowledge and spent the morning helping the children learn how to grow lettuce and spinach.

From preparing the beds and planting seedlings to sharing tips and tricks, it was a wonderful hands on learning experience. Thank you to all the members and friends of RCTB who helped make it possible!

Dear friends of Rotary, we are looking for volunteers!

We are looking for volunteers to support with race support for the Nelson Mandela Marathon on Sunday, 18 October.

Support is needed at the start of the race at Grand Parade. It will entail answering questions and guiding runners to the start.

The time will be from about 5am-9am.

It’s a perfect opportunity to get your teenage kids out of bed for some community service 🙂. Also a fabulous opportunity to support the runners and the Rotary Club of Table Bay!

We lost one of our youngest members last week, and we are all in shock at losing someone in the prime of their life. Dewlon ‘Dew’ Africa joined our club in 2023, and was an active and passionate member who will be dearly missed. Our condolences go out to her family and friends during this very difficult time.

On Sunday, RCTB took part in the annual Blisters for Bread walk!

This event was more than just a walk, it was a wonderful opportunity to come together in fellowship, honour our club's longstanding connection with the Peninsula School Feeding Association (PSFA), and support the fight against hunger in young children across the Western Cape.

We are proud to continue a legacy that began with Rotary members in 1958. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this morning so special! 💙

Happy New Rotary Year!

As we begin a new Rotary year, we celebrate the handover of leadership for The Rotary Club of Table Bay.

On 20 June, District 9350 Governor Pam Rawbone formally inducted Claudine Hennessey as President for 2026/27, succeeding Mandy Allan.

We extent our sincere thanks to Mandy for her dedicated leadership, service and commitment throughout her presidential year. As we honor her contribution, we also warmly welcome Claudine as she leads our club into a new chapter.

Here's to another year of meaningful service, fellowship, and lasting impact together 💙💛
