From the native shaman to esoterric Judaism this phenomenon has dominated for millennia. It has now become clear that western civilization is unique in history in its failure to recognize each human being as a subtle energy system in constant communication in a sea of energies and the surrounding cosmos. Dr. Edward Mann
A world in need of healing.
The shaman is an eclectic medicine person, healer and adept spiritual assistant, who exists in every culture and at the foundation of every religion around the world, since man first realized his own consciousness. He has been as useful in tribal culture as he will be in modern society. It is a mistake to think that these enigmas among human beings are either superstitious conman or foolish, arcane witch doctors.
The shaman is an austere character who puts his or her body through intense experiences, willingly and often unwillingly in order to contact states of consciousness beyond the so called normal realm, by means of a variety of methods, including but not only, meditation, starvation, exhaustion, long periods of solitude, plant helper medicines, trans, dancing and drumming. In prolonged states the shaman enters an altered mental jet stream of energy like a river and asks his guides and totem animals for the ‘medicine’ to heal him/her self or their patient. He returns and administers the treatment which could mean a herbal concoction or a series of exercises or tasks. The shaman is interested in seeking out the root of the dis ease and dissolving the affliction. Ultimately the shaman is tapping into the realm of the psyche and healing with natural means. This practice has been used the world over in a myriad of forms and expressions and has survived the test of time. Our minds are our most powerful tools in this physical, sensorial experience. How fascinating it would be if the shaman could take you, though ritual and theatrical rites and maybe a little trans, into the realm of your own body, through non invasive auto suggestion, singing and drumming, to rid yourself of disease. If you believe it, you can achieve it. Worth a try?
You will be pleasantly amused and speedily cured of headaches, stress syndrome, insomnia, and similar nagging discomforts with relative ease.
Alternative spiritual awareness.
We have only recently emerged from the tight grips of the church’s strict control over much of the western world. Since the rise of liberation movements and human rights around the 1960’s this overt control has finally abated. After a millennia of tyranny, accusations of heresy, murderous inquisitions, umpteen witch trials and the absolute annihilation and vilification of everything sacred to our people, like snowdrops after winter, our olde ways are emerging again. Wassail!
As those of ‘European descent’ may or may not know, a thousand years ago they too were living in clans and villages as rural communities paying homage to nature and living off Mother Earth with a certain reverence, in tune with its cycles for harvest and ceremony.
Before the Roman Empire brought the Bible on the end of their swords, conspired and coerced the English and Frankish kings and barbarian chieftains, we were an animistic and ‘pagan’ people. Archetypal human characteristics, like strength, beauty, fertility and honor were afforded and personified in natural features like rivers, mountains, trees and even stones. Living with a deeply ingrained mythos (series of oral traditional legends/ not false beliefs, as in it’s a myth) daily made most people naturally spiritual, sparing, communal and sharing. They also respected and revered the more carnal pleasures of eating, drinking and sexual revelry, bringing a very natural balance to their harsh, often short lives.
Many guests and new visitors to our ‘weird*’ ceremonies and therapies comment that they are magnetically drawn to the drumming, that it speaks to their soul, that they found the trans dancing so beautiful it made them quiet emotional, or a hundred similar comments. My explanation is that it is intrinsic in our DNA. Before Crick coined that phrase, shaman knew that blood, bone, feathers, and other bodily bits, carry cellular memory and messages, They called it the bone seed. (Therefore DNA has been known about at an intrinsic level as bone seed for centuries.)
Since options are somewhat limited where proper ceremony for the purpose of acknowledging our lifetime rites of passage are concerned, like the coming of age of an adolescent, a marriage, a departing soul, the naming of a new arrival, or any other special occasion you wish to immortalize, Ancient Heart Sacred Healing offers you a new choice. Soul satisfying, designer ceremonies that are personal, professional and pleasantly memorable.
Do you have a spiritual idea you would like to formulate into manifestation? Is there someone you would like to acknowledge for a special achievement or trait? Looking to get married in a personalized ceremony, not religious, but still something very special, contact me and I will assist you with the design and ex*****on as facilitator. You’ll be the star of the show.

Religion, Spirituality and Shamanism
As a point of reference I will state that where the belief in God, the gods, a creator, The Great Spirit, the universe, Source Energy, etc is concerned, each to his own as spirituality goes. Religion prescribes whereas spirituality facilitates. Religion says this is what you must believe, spirituality says this is how you can practice what you believe. Some shaman are religious, other are not. Some are charismatic, others are not. Sometimes you will need all the feathers and the rattles and the chanting crescendos to open up your channels, at other times and understanding ear, is all we need to provide to allow the energy to flow.
Your point of view is your belief, the shaman is less concerned with your belief that he is with your point of view.
I hope to have the honor of being able to share a little bit of this life path with you
Weird- (English meaning- Strangely unexplainable) From the Anglo Saxon root, Wyrd, indicating a matrix of unseen energy that connects and affects all things. (See opening quote)
