ANNOUNCEMENT: We're an official charity partner of Ride Joburg 2026.

Every November, over 20,000 cyclists close down the streets of Johannesburg for one day. This year, some of them are opening classroom doors instead.

For over 20 years we've worked in under-resourced South African schools, building digital skills through our Coding & Robotics, Learner Support and IT Enabler programmes.

Every charity entry sold for Ride Joburg helps fund that work.

Did you know we are helping young people become the digital backbone of their communities?

Through the Community Digital Enablers (CDE) Programme, unemployed youth are trained and supported to run digital micro-franchises within their own communities. This initiative is creating income opportunities while helping bridge the digital divide.

Some of these learners had never seen a computer before. Through our interventions, supported by MTO and our ITEs, that's changing. Learners are being exposed to digital skills for the first time: learning to navigate a laptop, explore the internet and using technology to enhance the way they learn.

Since teaming up with MTO in 2019, we have walked alongside teachers, learners, school leaders and communities across the Garden Route, bringing ICT skills into classrooms.

This is exactly why we do what we do: to enable education transformation, one school, one teacher, one learner at a time. That's Learning to Learn in action.
