Watching a parent decline with dementia is a profoundly difficult experience, marked by emotional loss and the gradual fading of a loved one's identityπŸ˜“ the brutal reality is you watch your LO deteriorate until they dieπŸ˜“ God thank you for being with us right nowπŸ™We confess that we don’t understand why things happen the way they doπŸ˜”We don’t understand why illness comes into our lives, but we do know that You walk every path of life with us. Remind Ma that You are walking with her right now. Remind Ma that You love herπŸ™no matter what she's going through. I also ask for prayer for us as a family. Give us Your strength as we care for Ma during this journey God, we thank You that You never leave us, that You never forsake us, but you love us.We trust You, and pray this in Your name. Amen.πŸ™ I pray for every one that's taking care of there parent through this horrible journeyπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ˜”πŸ™ Someone that's dying of Dementia does so over and over again 😞 in the eyes of there loved onesπŸ˜žπŸ’œπŸ’œ..pictures of my Lo 4years ago..now she's just a shell of the women she is to beπŸ˜” he bowl has stopped a few months ago..so fiscally I have to clean her bowl out twice a week..in the last stages they cannot sit on there own and hardly and movement in the body..vitals drops, so you never know when is the lastπŸ˜” Today I'm sending love and light to every Caregiver out thereπŸ™πŸ™πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ Ewald Herbert πŸ’œ my husband 4 years we took on the journey as husband and wife to take care of your MaπŸ™πŸ’œBless you my husband as I know it's not easy watching your Mom through this difficult journey

Welcome to my Dementia Grieve and support group.
Watching someone you love slowly withdraw from the pleasures of life, from relationships formed and change from the person you loved (and still love immensely) into all I can describe as a mere shadow of themselves … It may not be the correct terminology/language and I certainly don’t intend to offend, but how else do you explain it when your special someone can no longer have a conversation with you, and are unaware mostly of your presenceπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ Many families have no support not even from there own family members'and there's such a huge Stigma when it comes to Dementia. We should no longer hide but reach out and speak about it.
