While going through the process of adopting a baby, our social worker told us about Kangaroo Parents (parents that take care of newborns until they are given over to the adoptive parents). Immediately we knew that we wanted to do something for them. So we started our very own Foundation and our vision is to supply each Kangaroo Parent with the necessities to take care of the newborns
We will be
working closely with Pro-Care, www.procare.co.za and we will update our website (which will launch as soon as we are registered) with babies in Kangaroo care. You will be able to purchase an Kangaroo Baby Bag from us on the website, either a pink denim one for a girl, or a blue denim one for a boy, which will also double up as a toy or a book bag for when they are older. Each pouch will contain; a bottle, diapers, wipes, baby toiletries, vests, an outfit and a comfort toy. You will also be able to make cash donations or product donations (if you are like me who cannot resist buying baby outfits, this will give you a good excuse to shop for babies and not feel guilty about it).
