Friends of Masi High

Friends of Masi High Friends of Masi High is a voluntary organisation based within Masiphumelele High School which is situated in the Fish Hoek Valley.

The organisation provides support for teachers, learners, management and facilitates community involvement in the school. How can you get involved?

- Donations in kind: paper, stationery, teaching and learning support materials, books for the library as well as any newspapers and magazines.
- Volunteers: Programme and Volunteer Co-ordinators, tutors, teacher mentors, extra-mural support people, o

rganizational development, legal expertise to guide the School Governing Body in making sound decisions.
- Small-group conversational English & English reading assistants (no teaching experience needed)

Join the Masi High Reading Adventure Programme!

This help2read programme is designed to equip learners with vital literacy skills by pairing them with trained reading helpers on a one-on-one basis. We aim to turn struggling learners into avid readers through a supportive, fun and interactive approach.
