*Community Safety Update – Wards 115 & 57*

*Date: 30 September 2025*

We are pleased to announce that ten (10) newly deployed Metro Police officers have joined the safety and security core of Wards 115 & 57. This *strengthens visible policing, rapid response, and *community engagement across our neighbourhoods.*

*Deployment & Coverage*
The officers form part of the Metro Police Precinct Team, covering:
* Ward 115 and Ward 57

Their mandate includes foot patrols, mobile patrols, and hotspot monitoring to ensure a consistent, reassuring presence.

*Patrol Hours*
* The officers operate on a rotational shift system, providing day and evening coverage.

Community members are *encouraged to engage and collaborate with CPF* to strengthen safety efforts. You can:

• Report incidents or suspicious activity via SAPS 24/7 Emergency: 10111 (landline) or Woodstock SAPS: 021 442 3117 / 021 442 3121 (cellphone).
• Share tip-offs or updates via the Security WhatsApp group.
• Engage directly with patrol officers when you see them in your area.

We extend our appreciation to the City of Cape Town, the Metro Police Department, our Ward Councillors, CPF Sector Teams, and residents who make safety a shared responsibility.

This milestone marks another step toward a safer, more resilient community. Let us welcome our new officers and work hand in hand to keep our precinct safe.
