The Parikrama is the sacred circumambulation of Mount Kailash, a pilgrimage walked with devotion, contemplation and reverence. Each step around the mountain becomes part of an inner journey, following a path that has been walked by pilgrims for generations.

In this auspicious Dev Kumbh year, the Parikrama carries an especially beautiful symbolism: traditions from the far North and South of the world meeting on the same sacred path, brought together by a shared reverence for the land, the ancestors and the spiritual journey.

At the shores of Lake Manasarovar 🏔️

One of the most special aspects of this year’s Dev Kumbh pilgrimage to Kailash was the presence of Indigenous masters representing the northern and southern hemispheres.

From the Arctic Circle of Norway, Ánde Somby of the Sámi people, and from Cusco, Peru, Maestro Don Hipolito Peralta brought their distinct traditions and ancestral wisdom to this sacred pilgrimage.

Both connected deeply with the frequencies of Mohanji’s tradition — at Lake Manasarovar, Ánde spontaneously shared a yoik, while Maestro Hipolito performed an initiation for his son.

The following morning, both Elders joined Mohanji in conducting Indigenous ceremonies, continuing a journey of connection, sharing and spiritual practice.

Two distant corners of the world, meeting at the sacred waters of Manasarovar 🙏🏔️
