CREED is a youth empowerment programme to equip high school learners with the real-world skills, confidence, and leadership mindset they need to thrive beyond the classroom.

We brought the Career Expo to Gugulethu Ikamva Labantu.

As part of our youth empowerment work, CREED hosted a Career Expo at Ikamva Labantu, creating an opportunity for young people to explore the world of work.

Young people had the chance to meet professionals from different fields, learn about various career pathways, ask questions and discover opportunities they may not have known about.

It was a day filled with learning, conversations, curiosity and new possibilities.

And this is just the beginning.

Over the next few posts, we’ll be sharing moments from the day; from the opening session and career conversations to the different professionals, activities and interactions that made the Expo special.

Every career journey starts with a conversation.

During our Ikamva Holiday Programme, our young people explored Career Choice & Profession, gaining insightful information about different professions, career options and opportunities they may not have known were available to them.

Sometimes, one conversation is all it takes to see your future a little differently.

We’re grateful for the women who shared their knowledge, experience and guidance, helping open our young people’s eyes to the possibilities beyond what they already know.

A special thank you to Ikamro Rolhu for opening this door for us to engage with and inspire young people.

Because when young people are exposed to possibilities, they can begin to imagine what’s possible for them.
