Community Upliftment Day was truly a community effort, and we want to take a moment to say a very big ๐ง๐๐๐ก๐ ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ to everyone who played a part.
To our partner organisations ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐๐๐ซ๐ and ๐๐ค๐ค๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ค๐๐ ๐พ๐ค๐ข๐ข๐ช๐ฃ๐๐ฉ๐ฎ ๐๐ค๐ก๐๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ง๐ช๐ข and community stakeholders who believed in the vision and stood alongside us, thank you for helping us bring opportunities, services and support to the community.
To every exhibitor and institution who gave of their time, resources and expertise to be there and engage with our community; thank you for showing up and sharing what you have to offer.
To the organisations and individuals who donated gifts, resources, equipment, food and other contributions, thank you for helping us create moments of joy for both the children and adults who attended.
To our medical team and volunteers, thank you for providing care and making the Health Zone possible.
To our food and catering team, thank you for working behind the scenes to keep our volunteers, guests and VIPs well looked after.
To every volunteer and team leader who arrived early, stayed late, carried, set up, served, cleaned, guided, welcomed, organised and simply stepped in wherever there was a need; we saw you, and we appreciate you. ๐๐ฝ
To everyone who brought entertainment, activities, sport and fun, thank you for creating an atmosphere where our community could connect, participate and simply enjoy the day.
And to every family, young person, resident and community member who came through and supported the day; this was for you!
A special thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, because so much of what makes an event successful happens long before anyone walks through the doors.
This day reminded us of what is possible when people, organisations and communities come together with a heart to serve.
Thank you for helping us STEP OUT, BRING JOY & HOPE, and SERVE OUR COMMUNITY.
We are grateful for every person, every contribution and every helping hand. This was truly a community effort.
