Transplant Ambassadors Workshop – Wits University, Parktown - 20 May, 2026

The ODF was honoured to participate in the annual Transplant Ambassadors Workshop last week. The event brought together healthcare professionals, transplant stakeholders, transplant recipients, and NPOs to strengthen awareness, advocacy, and collaboration in organ, corneal, and tissue transplantation and donation.

The workshop provided a valuable opportunity to network, share knowledge, and hear from a diverse range of speakers, including transplant specialists, tissue banks, recipient advocates, and organisations working within the sector.

A special thank you to Marlize de Jager and the Cornea Foundation Tissue Bank team for organising such a comprehensive and inspiring programme.
