Today, we’re extending the celebration of Women’s Day with a special morning of fun, connection and magical activities in collaboration with Africa Unite

Magic has traditionally been a male-dominated art form, but here at the College of Magic, nearly 50% of our students are young ladies. Now that’s something worth celebrating!

We’re incredibly proud to see these talented young women developing their confidence, creativity and performance skills while making their own mark in the world of magic.

Today is about celebrating them, creating connections and recognising the important role young women are playing in shaping the future of our magical art.

A wonderful way to keep the Women’s Day celebrations going!

It’s official… we’re back in full swing!

We’re already heading into Week 3 of our onsite classes and we’ve just wrapped up the first week of our rural course programme. Safe to say the magic is well and truly underway!

From laughter and learning to creativity and a few “how did they do that?!” moments, our classrooms have been buzzing with energy. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the term has in store.

Our recent Open Day was packed with moments of pure amazement, including this one as close-up magic instructor Stuart Lightbody left parents completely speechless!

Now Stuart is swapping Cape Town for Scotland as he heads to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where he’ll be performing every day from 13 to 30 August. If you’re lucky enough to be in Edinburgh, don’t miss the chance to experience one of the world’s finest close-up magicians in action.
