This is the GWW community. 💜

People who volunteer with us.

People who donate.

People who show up.

And once a month, our community comes together to distribute sanitary pads and essential care items to women across Cape Town.

From the people who make the donations possible to the volunteers who give their time on the ground, everyone has a role to play.

Join our next distribution this weekend. Visit our website to get involved.

4,000 bars of soap. 8 months of dignity. Thank you Moore💜

Every month, Girls With Wiings distributes 500 dignity packs to women across Cape Town, providing essential hygiene products including sanitary pads and soap.

We’re incredibly grateful to Moore for donating 4,000 bars of soap, which will support our next 8 monthly distributions.

This donation is a meaningful contribution to ensuring that the women we support continue to receive the essentials they need, month after month.

Our relationship with Moore goes back 8 years. Since 2018, their teams annually run a sanitary drive for GWW as part of their company wide giving back initiatives. We’re grateful to continue building on this long-standing relationship.

This is one powerful example of what corporate partnership and involvement can look like: a practical contribution that directly supports the women we serve.

What goes into a box of GWW Pads?

It starts here.

Women working together to pack, label and prepare GWW Pads before they make their way to our customers.

Every box has a purpose and builds teamwork.

Over the past weekend, we distributed sanitary pads and soap to homeless and underprivileged women across the Cape Town area. ❤️

This distribution was made possible through the generosity of companies and their employees who choose to support women in our communities through their Mandela Day and Women’s Month contribution drives.

17 women trained. 11 women progressed into employment. 200 boxes of GWW Pads sold. 💗

Q2 has been a big one for GWW Pads — and every box purchased is helping us create employment opportunities for women while increasing access to menstrual products.

This quarter, we also donated 2,000 GWW Pads through our Gift It Drive, extending that impact to women who need them.

From training to employment, and from production to distribution, we’re building something that creates opportunity and restores dignity.

Want to be part of it?

Buy GWW Pads for yourself, your organisation, your next initiative — or purchase a box and donate it back to us for distribution.

We’re wrapping up Women’s Month with our Gift It Drive. 💜

On 29 August, we distributed dignity bags to women in our communities, filled with essential items that women need and use every day.

A big thank you to Ninety One South Africa | Global Asset Manager for partnering with us to make this possible. We’re grateful for the support and for helping us put these essentials into the hands of women who need them.

Thank you to everyone who supported the Gift It Drive and helped us make a difference
