This World Menstrual Health Day, we celebrate a decade of showing up for women and girls affected by period poverty — not only through menstrual products, but through compassion, community, and opportunity.
Sibo’s story reminds us that impact is not always found in big moments. Sometimes, it’s in every pack of pads distributed, every conversation shared, every girl reminded that she is seen, valued, and deserving of dignity.
For many of us, Girls With Wiings became more than an organisation — it became a purpose, a community, and a movement for change.
10 years later, we continue to tip the scales of cause and effect by addressing the roots of period poverty and creating pathways toward dignity and empowerment for underserved women and girls.
