Janaza Notice
Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Prof. Allie Moosa, a respected member of the Fajrul Islam Board. His Janaza (funeral) will be held on 30 May 2026 at the Islamia Masjid (Masjid Furgaan).

Alhamdulillah, Fajrul Islam Centre organized a blessed iftaar program where members of the community, students, and some new Muslims gathered together to break their fast in a beautiful atmosphere during the blessed month of Ramadan.
O Allah, accept our fasting and prayers, make this effort sincerely for Your sake, bless everyone who supported and participated, and keep us united upon goodness. Ameen. 🤲🌙

Fajrul Islam Centre hosted a blessed Ramadan iftaar at the Khayelitsha branch, bringing together families, students, and new Muslims in a beautiful atmosphere of unity and brotherhood.
The program was honored by the presence of Sheikh Suleiman Salamah, Director of the Centre, who shared a beneficial reminder.

We are pleased to announce that, from the beginning of this year, our new ALFAJR SCHOOL has officially opened, starting from Grade 0 (G0).
The school is open to both Muslim and non-Muslim learners.

We are committed to providing quality foundational education in a safe, respectful, and caring environment, with a strong focus on:
