We are proud to announce Zimbabwean clinical researcher and mental health pioneer Tanatswa Amanda Chikaura as our Young Leader of the Month for June.

As Founder and Director of the Ndinewe Foundation in Harare, Tanatswa spearheads youth driven initiatives delivering critical mental health support and su***de prevention networks across sub Saharan Africa. Her profound impact has earned global acclaim, leading to her selection by the United Nations Youth Office as a UN Young Leader for the SDGs

Beyond advocacy, she is a PhD candidate at the University of Cambridge researching autism, trauma, and mental health. Her exceptional work has been recognized with The Diana Award (the highest humanitarian honor for young people), the JCI Zimbabwe Honouree title, and multiple national mental health awards.

Tanatswa proves that academic rigor is a powerful tool for social justice, and that sustainable development is impossible without mental health inclusion. Please join us in celebrating her.
