We’ve chosen the wonderful organisation Mothers That Care - Cape Town to receive our 67 Mandela Day Soup Jars. They are passionate about feeding the hungry and helping to keep those in need warm.

Every jar represents a small act of kindness that can make a big difference in someone’s life. Together, we can honour the spirit of Mandela Day by giving back to our community and spreading hope where it is needed most.

Thank you to everyone who has donated jars, ingredients, and their time. Your generosity is helping us turn simple ingredients into meals filled with love and compassion. ❤️

🌸 Today we had the privilege of delivering a collection of beautiful handmade baby beanies to the maternity ward at the Mowbray Maternity Hospital and the neonatal ICU at the 2 Military Hospital. 💕

A heartfelt thank you goes to the incredible ladies from RSE Hekel & Brei for their dedication, generosity, and countless hours of knitting. Your hard work helps bring warmth, comfort, and a little extra love to some of our tiniest and most vulnerable babies.

Your kindness truly makes a difference. 💙🩷👶

🥣 Help Us Fill Our Soup Jars! 🥣

Our wonderful volunteers are busy preparing soup jars for families in need, and we would love your support.

We are looking for donations of ingredients such as:
• Soup mix
• Lentils
• Split peas
• Rice
• Pasta
• Stock cubes

Every donation, no matter how small, helps us provide a warm and nourishing meal to someone who needs it.

💚 GLITTER COMMUNITY HELP NEEDED 💚

One of our Glitter ladies will be visiting the Kogelberg Biosphere Wildlife Rescue Centre next week to assist with the devastating storm damage caused by last Monday’s storm. 💔🌧️

If anyone is able to assist with any of the urgently needed items, helping hands, or donations, please get in touch with us to arrange collection or drop off before next week.

Our hearts are breaking for the families affected by the devastating flooding in Dunoon. Little Lambs NPO 069-435 is urgently collecting NEW blankets to help keep the students and families they support warm and comforted during this incredibly difficult time.
