HOPE ALIVE | YOUTH FOR CHANGE ❤️‍🔥

Tonight was one of those evenings that reminded us just how faithful God has been.

From our check-in, to our Faith & Bible Knowledge questions, to the Word and open discussion, we were reminded that “we have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” — Hebrews 6:19 ⚓️

We also took a moment to look back at where Youth for Change began. Many of us were so young back then. Today, we see the fruit of those seeds — young people who have grown, who are serving, and who are now stepping forward to take the lead. 🌱

Newton, we honour you. Thank you for trusting God with the vision He placed in your heart. Thank you for saying yes when the journey was only beginning, and for sowing into young lives without knowing exactly what the harvest would look like.

Tonight, we are part of that harvest.
We are the fruit of seeds that were planted in faith. 🌱
And as we continue the journey, we carry that same hope forward — knowing that what God starts, He is faithful to finish.

✨ LEADERS TAKEOVER ✨

What an amazing evening we had at Youth for Change! 🙌🏽❤️

Our leaders took the lead and created a space where we could reflect on what God has done in the past, give thanks for what He is doing in the present, and look ahead to how we can serve Him in the future.

We then moved into a powerful panel discussion, where our leaders courageously shared personal experiences, thoughts, successes, challenges, and the lessons they have learned along the way. It was honest, inspiring and a beautiful reminder that our journeys can encourage someone else. 🫶🏽

📖 The Word for the evening came from Matthew 7:7:
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."

A reminder to KEEP ASKING. KEEP SEEKING. KEEP KNOCKING. 🚪🙏🏽

God is still writing our stories, and there is so much more ahead! ❤️‍🔥

WOW, WOW, WOW! 😭🔥 What a night!

The Youth for Change Girls Takeover was nothing short of AMAZING! 💕🙌🏽

The boys set the bar high last week, but our girls definitely understood the assignment! 💅🏽🔥 They brought a fun-filled, empowering programme that had everyone laughing, engaging, and enjoying every moment.

We started with a fun weather check-in ☀️🌤️☁️⛈️, followed by an icebreaker that had us pointing fingers and exposing each other! 😂👀

Then came the deep stuff… 💭❤️ Questions about what we would apologise to God for and what we would ask Jesus if we had the chance.

And wow… the atmosphere shifted. 🥹😭 There were tears, vulnerability, and raw, honest moments. The Holy Spirit truly moved, breaking down walls and touching hearts.

We ended the evening with Thanksgiving, worship and prayer 🙏🏽❤️‍🔥

It was fun. It was emotional. It was tear-jerking. It was powerful. It was REAL.

A huge shoutout to our amazing girls for stepping up and taking the lead! 👏🏽💗

What a night. What a generation. What a God! 🙌🏽🔥

What a night! 🙌🔥

The boys absolutely smashed their Youth Night takeover!

We kicked things off with a check-in where everyone had the chance to share about their week—whether they had faced a trial, experienced conviction, or simply wanted to share what God had been doing in their lives.

Then it was time for some fun! 😄 We played rock-paper-scissors, with the winners taking home some lollipop prizes 🍭. After that, we jumped into an intense round of "this or that" questions that had everyone laughing, thinking, and realizing how they've actually been going through life, consciously and unconsciously.

We ended the evening with a powerful word from James 1:19, reminding us to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry. It was a simple but impactful message that challenged us all.

All in all, it was an incredible night! A huge shoutout to our young men for putting together such an awesome programme. We’re so proud of you and excited to see how God continues to use each of your lives. 💙🙌

✨️Friday Youth Night Recap ✨

Last Friday was another powerful evening at Youth For Change.

We started the night with an exciting Bible verse challenge, where we split into two teams and raced to find different scriptures. It wasn't just about winning—it was about learning where God's Word is found, memorizing Scripture, and understanding its meaning. It was amazing to see everyone so eager to search the Bible!

After the challenge, we gathered for an open discussion about the things that can keep young people in bo***ge. Together, we identified struggles such as overthinking, anxiety, insecurity, low self-esteem, social media addiction, toxic relationships, comparison, loneliness, people-pleasing, fear of failure, cyberbullying, gossip, heartbreak, jealousy, financial struggles, and feeling directionless.

As we shared openly, we were reminded that while these challenges are real, Jesus came to set us free. The evening was filled with honesty, encouragement, and the hope that true freedom is found in Christ.

💙 Thank you to every young person who participated so openly. We pray that every conversation planted a seed of healing, growth, and transformation.

✨ Friday Night at Youth for Change ✨

Last Friday was another powerful evening together! ❤️
We started the night with a check-in where each of us shared the scripture we had received the previous week and the revelation God had given us through His Word. It was such an encouragement to hear how God is speaking to each of us in different ways.

We then spent time in prayer, lifting up our careers, jobs, education, and prosperity before the Lord. As young people living in previously disadvantaged communities and coming from family lines marked by generational struggles, we believe that God is able to rewrite our stories. We declared His Word over our lives because we know that His promises are true, and we believe there is power in praying the Scriptures.

We are trusting God for open doors, wisdom, favour, and breakthrough in every area of our lives as we continue to walk faithfully with Him.

To end the evening, we played a game of 30 Seconds—and wow, our youth are competitive! 😂 There was so much laughter, fellowship, and joy.
We thank God for another amazing youth night and for all that He is doing in and through our young people. To God be all the glory! 🙌❤️

What a powerful  session we had at our Friday Youth Night! 🙌

We give all glory to God for using our youth leader, Anusca Baron so powerfully.

Tonight we studied Galatians 5. We were divided into three groups and asked to share what we understood from the chapter. What followed was truly incredible. As each group shared, the Holy Spirit brought fresh revelation through our young people. It was a beautiful reminder that God speaks to anyone with a willing ,open and listening Spirit.

The discussion was so engaging that we went over time,and it seemed no one wanted to leave. Everyone was captivated by the Word and the truth being shared.

We are so grateful for God’s grace, for His presence, and for the understanding He gives as we read His Word. May we continue to grow in wisdom, walk by the Spirit, and bear the fruit He has called us to produce.
