We, Cameroonians residing in the Western Cape Province of the Republic of South Africa,
feeling the need to foster unity, harmony and development amongst us, to form an
organized Cameroonian community that shall promote and protect the dignity of our
diverse cultures; Proud of our history and reckoned the need for unity; convinced that the
well-being of our people lies in forging the ever-growing

bonds of solidarity among
Cameroonians in the Western Cape; we affirm our due respect for the laws of our host
nation South Africa and declare our readiness to co-operate with its leaders in the Western
Cape Province to the enforcement of a peaceful and brotherly relation with the people of
the Western Cape.Resolved to be apolitical and non-lucrative; however, reserve the right to engage in any
social, political, economic or any discussions or activities that seek to promote our rich
culture;
