Eight years ago, became a grantee of EMpower Foundation. Together, we have created safe spaces for girls in South Africa 🇿🇦 and beyond and witnessed the power of giving girls opportunities to lead. Last night in New York City, BRAVE was honored by EMpower at their annual Chalpiis for Youth gala. It was such a privilege to see BRAVE alum Miche Williams accept this award for BRAVE. Our board member and co-founder India Baird was there with Miche, and so proud of the work BRAVE has done since 2010 to uplift underserved girls and women. Miche is now mentoring the next generation of girls, showing them how the power of education can help them reach their own dreams. 🙏🏽💪🏽🇿🇦❤️ @
