At Ny Qiqa Cycling Academy we are using bicycles as a magnet tool to attract the underprivileged youth of Gugulethu and the surrounding townships. This foundation (mindfulness) helps in positively transforming our communities through sports and education, and it also plays a massive role in helping our youth to deal with their daily life challenges.

Today marks the exciting launch of Ny Qiqa cy

As we entered the year 2025 with positive energies at NY Qiqa Cycling Academy, I want to take a moment to reflect on the challenges we've faced. Among them, the theft of our bicycles stands out as one of the most difficult. It was disheartening to see not only the bikes taken but also the damage done to our facility, where we paid rent for our bikes, as thieves broke in at night and stole them. However, even in the face of adversity, we remain strong.

These challenges will not break the spirit or the purpose of our academy. Our mission to transform our communities in a positive way is bigger than any setback we’ve encountered. To the thieves: we want you to know, we’re coming for you, and we will get our bikes back.

Let’s move forward with even more determination and continue working toward making a lasting impact.
