We entered 2 teams into the Cub Trailblazer Hiking Challenge yesterday held at Eversdal Trimpark. It was a fun afternoon of hiking, completing activities at bases and doing STA’s. Thank you to 1st Durbanville for organizing the event!

A Springbok pioneering project can be one of the most challenging, yet most rewarding parts of the advancement.

From concept, to model, to the full scale project, scouting and leadership skills are put to the test.

This past weekend Emily undertook this challenge and successfully led her patrol in the construction of a suspension bridge.

Yesterday 1st Claremont had 2 teams competing in the Regional Scout Orienteering competition, with one team winning the Junior section and the other placing 17th out of 43 teams. Well done guys!
