Friday Feedback:
Baby X was born at 29 weeks, 11 weeks too soon, and survived on donor milk for the first few weeks of life as his mom was very ill in the ICU herself.

Starting on just 1ml an hour of donor milk, Baby X, was a little fighter. So was his mom, who started expressing as soon as she was well enough to. She persevered and is now providing full feeds of her own breastmilk for her precious baby.

Thank you to the donor mothers who donated their milk and made it possible to feed Baby X and all the other babies needing donor milk.

You are all ! And we are so grateful!

What a champion Stephanie is!

She ran the full 42.2 km Sanlam Cape Town Marathon marathon to raise funds for Milk Matters.

And she did it with just 2 months training to move from a Park Runner doing a max of 10km, to running the 42.2km marathon!

Please support Stephanie's objective of raising funds for Milk Matters by donating via her GivenGain page.

Every cent will count as much as every step Stephanie took did!

Thank you to Sanlam and forgood for the charity entry that sparked this incredible achievement and the fundraising that resulted.

Did you know you can donate your extra breastmilk to help premature babies survive?

Safe (screened & pasteurised) donor milk is a short term, life-saving intervention for very premature babies in the absence of breastmilk from their own mother.

Our stocks are critically low, so please contact us if you can help:
