These past couple of weeks was extremely difficult and emotional as well as traumatizing as the brutal murders continues 😢 💔 As women we fear for our lives and our young girls. We cannot sent our children 😢 to a shop three doors from us alone. Our children dare not walk alone. We urge the government to look into the crime which is out of control in our beautiful country and do some intervention as it is out of control. We welcomed the March organised by 1 Billion Rising where various stakeholders came together and raised their voices against the injustices done to our women and children 💔 😢 it cannot continue this way. We need to find alternatives as again this morning reading about a senior being brutally murdered. It is time that the laws change according to the victims and not the other way around. We lose one woman, society lose big time, we lose a child we lose the next generation..This is not the life I want for my family. This is not the life I want for our communities and our country. When we oppressed other's we can never remain silent. We have to fight harder in order to rid our society from this evil pandemic called Gender Base Violence! It stops by all of us. Let our Voices echoe louder.
