Noordhoek Pony Club We have been in existence for over 90 years and are the world’s largest association of young riders. I shall treat my horse with consideration.

Our purpose is:
To encourage young people to ride and to learn to enjoy all kinds of sports connected with ponies, horses and riding. Join a branch, centre, or centre plus in your area, and attend monthly rallies with your horse or pony. Enjoy the time with like-minded people, who are as passionate about horses as you are. To give instruction in riding and horsemastership and to educate members to

look after and to take proper care of their animals. We have vast training experience and training materials, and the welfare of our animals and the safety of our members is always paramount. To promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty, in order to create strength of character and self-discipline. Participate in team events and community service activities. We include Friends of Pony Club in our structure, and assist in training your groom. As a member of the South African Pony Club, I stand for the best in sportsmanship as well as in horsemanship. I shall compete for the enjoyment of the game well played and take winning or losing in my stride, remembering that without good manners and good temper, sport loses its cause for being.

It’s a public holiday, making it the perfect day out for the whole family. Whether you’re a young rider, an experienced competitor, or simply looking for a fun day with friends and family, there’s something for everyone.

Don’t miss the Mares vs Geldings competition – it’s guaranteed to be one of the highlights of the day and loads of fun to watch!

We look forward to seeing riders and supporters of all ages there for a fantastic day of horses, competition, and community spirit.

Leerdam and Buren Roads
(to and from the riding club)
⚠️ Please be on the look out ⚠️
Noordhoek Pony Club will be testing pony club riders on their road riding proficiency. Riders have been taught road signs, signals and etiquette. This testing is run once a year. Riders and horses will be in high-viz gear. Your patience and consideration will be greatly appreciated 💚🐴
