Watchcon Hout Bay
Watchcon have been serving the Hout bay community as a central point of call and response coordination center since 2005. operating under the Hout Bay Neighbourhood Watch and managed by Community Crime Prevention, Watchcon have had a major role in assisting to combat crime in the Hout Bay valley.
We are here to serve our community as much as we can, be it crime related, medical, burst pipes or lost dogs. Watchcon is the go-to number for any resident or visitor to Hout Bay.
Watchcon operates a state of the art control room, with our own radio network services the valley. We are connected to hundreds of CCTV feeds across the valley to extend our ability to keep the community safe in public spaces and aid SAPS with their investigations where we can.
Part of our mission is to operate as a neutral space to allow us to work with all SSPs and other service providers in Hout Bay, be is armed response, off site video monitoring, or emergency services.
