Our Peer Educators recently took part in a special educational tour to Parliament in Cape Town.

Hosted by The Presidency of the Republic of South Africa under the theme “Milestones to freedom”, the tour provided an opportunity for our Peer Educators to explore South Africa’s journey to freedom, learn about key democratic milestones and reflect on the legacy of Nelson Mandela and his lifelong service to humanity.

It was a meaningful day of learning, reflection and connecting with South Africa’s history🇿🇦

🌸 Happy Women’s Day!💜

Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience and potential of every woman. Women’s empowerment starts with creating spaces where young women feel supported, informed and confident to make decisions about their health, well-being and future.

Here’s to women who know their worth, use their voices and continue to make a difference. ✨

Empowered women. Informed choices. Stronger communities.

The 1st week of the First Things First (FTF) Campaign at Bellville Campus was a huge success!🎗️🙂‍↕️

It was encouraging to see students stepping forward, getting tested, asking questions, and taking control of their health. Every screening, every conversation, and every informed decision is a step towards a healthier campus community.

A big shoutout to our dedicated health screening team and partners along with our amazing Peer educators for showing up and making their presence felt!👏👏

Last week Monday, the Division of Student Affairs hosted the Amajitas & EmpowHer Mentor-Mentee Meet & Greet at Granger Bay Hotel School.

The day kicked off with inspiring introductions to the Amajitas Men’s Programme and the EmpowHer Programme, two initiatives dedicated to empowering young men and women to break harmful societal norms, grow in confidence, and make positive, life-changing choices.

The Mentorship Programme was then unpacked, not just as a programme, but as a powerful partnership built on trust, accountability, consistency, and genuine support.

The highlight of the day was the mentor-mentee networking session, where conversations flowed, experiences were exchanged, new connections were formed, and plenty of laughter filled the room. It was the perfect start to what promises to be an impactful mentorship journey.

Here’s to a journey of learning, leadership, and empowering one another!✨
