In her inspiring , Ziganekozihle Makheta shares the rich history of cinemas in the township and envisions a future where townspeople repurpose their spaces for communal film screenings, fostering pride, connection, and social change.

She believes that the township community has the resilience and creativity to bring back the magic of the bioscope, using film to spark important conversations and celebrate their heroes. The community already has its own ways of creating infrastructure that works for them and this is their chance to use that to tell their stories on screen. 🎬💬
